View looking at the well–preserved remnants of a "Spring House" from the Hasmonean Period. It is located on the southern slope of Nebi Samwil.
This Jewish settlement was built in the first quarter of the second century B.C. It was abandoned during the reign of King Alexander Jannaeus (r. 102–76 B.C.).
