View looking north at Saint Paul's Island that is located at the entrance to Saint Paul's Bay that is located on the northwest coast of Malta. The prominent structure on the island is a statue of Saint Paul.
This is the bay that has been suggested by many to be the bay where the ship that the Apostle Paul was on ran aground (Acts 27:6–28:1). Some have suggested that Paul's ship ran aground on these islands.
