View looking southeast at the two Pools of Bethesda.
In the lower right portion of the image the red–roofed five portico structure is visible. This is the representation of the Pool of Bethesda where Jesus healed a crippled man (John 5:1–15).
In the left (southern) portion of the image the northern wall of the temple mount is visible as is the small “Tadi Gate” that leads into it. The base of two towers are also visible—these are portions of the representation of the Antonia Fortress.
