Temple of Aphaia (2)

View looking west northwest at the southeastern side of the temple.

This long side of the temple originally had 12 columns along its outer edge. Fallen columns have been re-erected. Just beyond the columns remnants of the temple (cella) wall is visible.

The stairs on the far right of the image are located where the original entrance (Propylon) to the temple area was located.
