A reconstruction of a 31 foot long coastal seafaring merchantman that was found in the excavations at Yenikapi.  The ship dates to the ninth century AD.

The ship was propelled with a single lateen-rigged mast and steered with a pair of quarter rudders placed on both sides of the stern.
