View of “inscription” XV.  The protective horizontal covering is modern.  The Assyrian “inscriptions” have a rounded top, while the Egyptian ones have a horizontal top.

The raised right arm, and horizontal left arm of the ruler are clearly visible as is the conical headdress and (faintly) his beard.

Unfortunately the cuneiform inscription is completely weathered away and the identity of the ruler is not known, but a variety of Assyrian kings were active in this area from the ninth to the seventh century B.C.
