View looking into one of the buildings at Mamshit.  The beginning of the arches were found intact, but the arches themselves have been reconstructed.  Notice how close together the arches are.  This is because they supported a stone ceiling—rather than a wooden one—and thus they need to be close together.

Notice on the far side, the two steps that lead down into the building from the street that is visible through the doorway.
