Dwelling Detail (1)

View of a circular structure that was a "dwelling" that dates back to the Middle Bronze I Period (2200–2000 B.C.)

The two upright stones on the left side of the image mark the entrance. In the center of the circle is a column — originally a bit taller. From this column supporting beams radiated out to the low walls at the edge of the stone circle. Probably a goat’s hair covering was placed over the beams—providing shelter to the inhabitants of the dwelling.

Another "dwelling" is visible on the right side of the image and one on the extreme top. Actually, a courtyard is visible in the upper left quadrant of the image.
