View looking west–southwest at the "Fortress Temple."  The temple dates to the Middle and Later Bronze Ages (ca. 1650–1200 BC).  The group of people is standing in the entrance to the temple.  On the left side of the image the rebuilt courtyard of the fortress/temple is visible as is, on the far left, the standing stone.

Note in the background all of the modern buildings of Nablus on the lower slope of Mt. Gerizim.
