View looking down on to what Garfinkel calls Room 3 (51:47 of his lecture)—the whole lower left quadrant of the image.  He says that it contained 70 to 80 whole vessels (see 53:11 in his lecture for a picture of these vessels)!

This room, and 1, 2, and 4 near it, date to the time of David—i.e, 1,000 BC.

His Room 4 is visible to the right of the center of the image.

In a one hour Lanier Theological Library lecture, Searching for the Historical King David: Khirbet Qeiyafa and Khirbet al–Ra'i, Yosef Garfinkel describes Kh. al–Ra'i for 4 minutes, beginning at the 49th minute.  He describes the site and provides helpful photos and labeled ones as well.  According to Garfinkel, it was inhabited in the 11th, 10th, 8th, 7th centuries and later.
