Synagogue Detail

View of the still–preserved window above the left (west) door of the synagogue at Baram.  Note the lintel piece with a triangular design and the vine tendrils above it.

The dating of these synagogues is much debated with dates ranging from the third century A.D. (unlikely) to the six century (more probable).
