Plain of Kedesh 2

View looking east at the Plain of Kedesh that is located in eastern Upper Galilee.  Note the fertility of the plain.  This picture was taken in May, as the summer season is beginning.  The Israelis irrigate portions of the plain—thus the green patches in the image.

The antiquity site of Kedesh is located just left of the center of the images.  In fact the Temple of Kedesh is actually visible.  The site is actually on the northwest side of the plain.
