A variety of kitchen implements.  In the upper center is a storage jar—for water or grain.  Below it is a sieve.  In the lower center is a two-part circular grinder.  The top part is turned in a circular fashion using the outside wooden handle.  On the right side are two more primitive grinders where the top stone is moved back and forth on the base.

Note also the walls of the room. The walls of this building were built of rather large local, unworked, basalt stones, but they were plastered with mud and lime. For a view of the walls of such a building, while under construction, Click Here.
